CHHF receives $100,000 grant

We are grateful for Rep. Danny Garrett’s support of our community! CHHF is a recipient of a $100,000 grant again this year through the Alabama Historical Commission. These funds will enable CHHF to address all areas of our mission. It is our honor to serve our community as an educational nonprofit organization in the City of Trussville.

“We’re looking at structures that need repair and restoration,” said CHHF President Amy Peterson O’Brien. “Other projects will enhance and promote the beauty and history of our area, on the cusp of our 90th anniversary next year. And we’re in the planning stages of educational programs and Heritage Days 2026!”
