The Veterans Memorial Monument, completed in 2015, honors Trussville veterans of all wars with their names on five granite tablets.
Each of the five sides of the monument’s tower holds a tablet listing military veterans from the Trussville area from the War of 1812 until the present.
The tower is surrounded by a circular sandstone wall that serves as a bench. Flag poles surround the monument, which currently includes more than 200 names.
