Trussville Arbor Week set for Feb. 16-22

For the third consecutive year, the City of Trussville has been awarded the title of Tree City USA.

Arbor Week 2025 will be hosted by the Trussville Tree Commission from Feb. 16-22.

For the duration of the week, Hewitt-Trussville Middle School’s tree art will be displayed at the Trussville Public Library.

The week culminates with several Arbor Day events on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the pavilion on the Mall in Trussville:

  • Tree giveaway! Bare root and 3-gallon trees, majority native
  • Alabama Forestry posters
  • Face painting
  • Guided neighborhood tree walks
  • Consultations by ACE Tree Service
  • Celebratory tree planting with Girl Scouts, instructed by ACE Tree Service, at 11 a.m.
